U.S. Banking and Credit Cards

  • Our overseas banking programs are designed specifically to meet the needs of our clients moving to a host city in the United States or abroad. In order to streamline the process we have established a single point of contact regardless of where you are moving to – and whether you are a domestic or international employee.

  • 1. A streamlined account opening process
    2. Access to credit facilities including credit cards (with salary requirements and minimum assignment terms)
    3. A simple and secure method of transferring funds
    4. Access to banking professionals who understand your clients unique needs
    5. Smooth transition between “home” and “host” country

  • Getting Started:
To ensure that the accounts and credit cards are open prior to arrival in the U.S.A, we will have our International Banking Representative contact you approximately four weeks prior to arrival and/or departure from the U.S.A. This way, the bank can ensure that accounts are established and operational as soon as possible.

  • Documentation Needed:
    1. A passport
    2. A secondary form of identification (ex. Typically a foreign driver’s license)
    3. Immigration visa showing at least one year remaining before expiration
    4. Letter of employment, also called “terms and conditions”
    5. A bank reference letter – the bank reference letter should state the type of lending products and the repayment behavior.
    6. Copies of 3 months of bank statements

As a client of OneWorld Relocation, the standard monthly banking fees are waived
along with minimum balance requirements.
